Often we need dermatology treatments or procedures to really boost the level of results that we can get. Topicals (creams, lotions, etc.) can only penetrate so far into the skin and therefore, we often need procedures that are stronger and can do deeper to achieve the best results for our patients.
Treatments range from peels to lasers, to ultrasound/radiofrequency/energy-based procedures, to microneedling, to surgery. Some treatments are “one and done” (or at least one per year or every few years), some are done in a series, and others should be done in rotation with other procedures routinely but not frequently (maybe once every quarter or once every 6 months).
For any procedure that we suggest, we will review with you what you should expect from the procedure, the recovery or “down” time, the expected results, and treatment alternatives. We are here for you every step of the way with any and all of our treatments.
Since we see different conditions on the body than we do the face, we dedicate a subset of services specifically to the body. We often use different technologies and techniques for treatments on the body, and fortunately, we consider that you often have less “downtime” with these procedures because your recovery is hidden under clothing.
The skin on your face is special, and we treat it as such. The unique conditions that we see on the face lend itself to a specific set of treatments. We dedicate a subset of services especially to the face and carefully consider your “downtime” associated with these procedures and create a treatment plan compatible with your lifestyle.
